Our Story
Global Initiative for Exchange and Development Inc. (GIED) was established in July 07, 2015 in Cebu City, Philippines. GIED offers people empowerment and connectivity through the spirit of volunteerism and building communities for sustainable development.
The organization wants to enhance the inter-cultural interactions of people around the world through exchange and development focusing on a three-point agenda.
Under each agenda are specific programs, activities and projects that focus on social issues like education, health and gender sensitivity, environment, children, youth and women participation in society, peace and rights-based issues, social exclusion, language barrier and other impact social development efforts in marginalized communities.
