Kyodogakusha is established in 1974. They aim a cooperated society with each other and many kinds of people, for example children, disability people and who wants to study organic agriculture, work together.
The project has quite a good rapport with the local people, meaning that communication is made much easier for any volunteers. This also means that local people often visit the farm and help out, which will give the volunteer the chance to talk with, and learn more about the local community.

Accommodation is in the facility and share the room with other volunteers. They have washing machine and TV.

Shintoku is a dairy farm and they produce very good quality cheese. About 50 people included children live together. They have a lot of animals, fields for vegetables, an opportunity to make traditional doll and so on. They have a quite good communication with local people.
